I use this program just about every day. It may not be the best app but it is deffantly one of the best
Love love LOVE this app. 3 taps and you have map and route directions. Totally customizable. I have pre-configd my faves so when Im travelling (4days every week) I can find what I want anywhere with ease. This is a MUST have and I like better than AroundMe which doesnt customize or easily tell u distances from your current locale until u start maps. This is quicker and slicker. No map app is sicker.
Finally updated and working properly again! I missed using this app when the glitch occurred. I tried other apps but none perfo as well.
Some bad moments
I live in a newer area and nearly all of the services I searched for were missing.
Under parks it took me to a dental park and under coffee shops it missed all four starbucks that are right by me.
Its a great concept but I am not sure the database is updated. It might be that it works better in some cities but in MIlton Ontario it does not work that well.
I can not figure how to get this to work? A search option would be very helpful. I do not wish to delete as I think it could work for me.
I dont get it why I need to pay$.99 for this app. I already had the maps apps for free but it needed the Internet connection. This app is useless without the wifi connection. I thought it would work without the wifi connection. It is exactly the same as maps app. If u have an iPod touch like me, dont but it. Grrrrrrr.... I want my money back!
I should have listen to the previous review that the map does not have current point of intrest addresses. Also, you would think that after the map locates the place it would give you point by point directions - which it does not. Stick to the native "Yahoo Maps" that came included with the iPhone - it works the same as the Mapsbuddy.
realy disapointed, used to work well, but now does not know were you are and showes your requested location all over the country. have tried endlessly to e-mail the company to get an explanation / repair and can not get an answer it is a shame that such a great app that was functional at one time has just fell off the map
Gives me a handful of places several states away from me. Useless
