My goodness its a great idea on paper. Im not sure what its using as a database but it cant locate the major hospital, the main post office, & doesnt search for credit unions? As I said, on paper... But in real life... Needs work. LB

I live in a newer area and nearly all of the services I searched for were missing. Under parks it took me to a dental park and under coffee shops it missed all four starbucks that are right by me. Its a great concept but I am not sure the database is updated. It might be that it works better in some cities but in MIlton Ontario it does not work that well.

I love it and it works perfect. Its now on my front app page. Recommended highly!

I would use this more if there were someway to return to Maps Buddy from the Maps program without having to close Maps and open Maps Buddy and start all over again.

I can not figure how to get this to work? A search option would be very helpful. I do not wish to delete as I think it could work for me.

I dont get it why I need to pay$.99 for this app. I already had the maps apps for free but it needed the Internet connection. This app is useless without the wifi connection. I thought it would work without the wifi connection. It is exactly the same as maps app. If u have an iPod touch like me, dont but it. Grrrrrrr.... I want my money back!

Wonderful application! We went on vacation and this was very useful and the GPS is very convinient. If I could I would give this ten ! Also, Emoji is another great app which uses stuff like this:  and much, much, more! So if you like MapsBuddy, and you like to text, then get Emoji!

I use this program just about every day. It may not be the best app but it is deffantly one of the best

I should have listen to the previous review that the map does not have current point of intrest addresses. Also, you would think that after the map locates the place it would give you point by point directions - which it does not. Stick to the native "Yahoo Maps" that came included with the iPhone - it works the same as the Mapsbuddy.

Love love LOVE this app. 3 taps and you have map and route directions. Totally customizable. I have pre-configd my faves so when Im travelling (4days every week) I can find what I want anywhere with ease. This is a MUST have and I like better than AroundMe which doesnt customize or easily tell u distances from your current locale until u start maps. This is quicker and slicker. No map app is sicker.

realy disapointed, used to work well, but now does not know were you are and showes your requested location all over the country. have tried endlessly to e-mail the company to get an explanation / repair and can not get an answer it is a shame that such a great app that was functional at one time has just fell off the map

Gives me a handful of places several states away from me. Useless

Well, I had just rated this as a 4 yesterday, based on how it had worked before. I did not realize that they had changed it to a zero product. Dont waste your money. It is a real piece of crap now. Just use maps and search for what you want. That us what this crappy application forces you to do now, but with several more steps than maps. Search for Mexican Restaurants and get a display of about ten across the US. Go to my location and search (several steps and now just using maps) and get one pizza hut that is actually surrounded by five unlisted Mexican Restaurants. A real piece of crap. Dont buy it.

App started out working fine, but now it searches out to other countries ( i live in midwest)! I`m sorry, but I`m not going to the U.K. for a cup of coffee!! I tried contacting developers but got no help....

Currently not a working app! It will not return results for you current location. Hopefully the problem can be corrected and return this app to exellence

Finally updated and working properly again! I missed using this app when the glitch occurred. I tried other apps but none perfo as well.
